Fire medic Terra White was recognized for her heroic actions that saved her partner and herself from a near tragic accident while driving in an ambulance.
CLEVELAND, Ohio - An Akron fire medic was presented last week with an Act of Courage Award by the American Red Cross.
According to Akron fire, White’s partner had a medical emergency while driving and became unconscious. White’s quick thinking led to her taking control of and stopping the ambulance just before it drove over a steep embankment, avoiding a potentially deadly event.
