AirPods 3: Here In Days With Stunning Upgrades, Report Claims
Apple Loop: Stunning New iPhone Features, MacBook Pro Release Details, Massive iPhone Security WarningsThis fits with other rumors, and since it’s standard on AirPods Pro and many rival earbuds it’s not surprising. But it makes me wonder, supposing you don’t want to pay the extra for this capability? Are you simply out of luck, or will the current AirPods still be available as a lower-price option? The former, I suspect.This is a big deal, too.
Apple is expected to launch the iPhone 13, in mini, regular, Pro and Pro Max versions, and Apple Watch Series 7. All of which is great but, I’ll be honest, I’m just as excited about updated AirPods. My guess is they’ll be called AirPods, not AirPods 3, and are likely to cost the same as the current AirPods with wireless charging case, that is, $199.
Rumors suggest that the design will be much more like AirPods Pro than the current look, but some Pro features, like noise-cancelling, are highly unlikely to make it into the new earbuds. We’ll know everything within a week.
