This agreement to move the event between the AHSAA, the City of Hoover and the Finley Center is only for 2024.

The 2024 North Super Regional volleyball tournament is set to move to the Finley Center in Hoover, the Alabama High School Athletic Association announced on Monday.
“In July, I became aware that 2023 was the last year of the contract with Huntsville to host the North Super Regional event,” AHSAA executive director Heath Harmon said in a release. “Our staff immediately reached out to Huntsville to extend the contract for one more year. Unfortunately, but understandably, we were unable to work out an agreement. Thankfully, we were able to secure an agreement with the Finley Center to host this year’s event.
Montgomery’s Multi-Plex Arena at the Cramton Bowl will still host the AHSAA South Super Regional, with the state championships to be held at the Birmingham CrossPlex from Oct. 29-31. said. “We are looking forward to returning to Huntsville for the 2025 State Wrestling Championships, 2025 State Soccer Championships and the State Swimming Championships in 2024.
