The latest iteration? A labyrinthine crown of diminutive braids, woven just in time for this weekend's Afropunk Festival, where Twigs will be headlining.
A visit to her Instagram page today found the performer sharing a shot of her contemporary cornrows, which snaked away from her crown with the exception of three tiny braids: one that ran the length of her center part before forking into a duet of face-framing plaits. Baby curls shellacked to the temple served as an added bit of visual interest, the style in its entirety taking Twigs's makeup-free, freckled complexion to the next level.
