For years, Instagram has been synonymous with travel and experiences. But now, Instagram CEO Adam Mosseri is telling the social network's users to do what he's doing: stay at home.
"I don't normally work from my garage," Adam Mosseri said when asked what it's like to run one of the biggest social media platforms in the world from his San Francisco home.
For years, Instagram has been synonymous with travel and experiences. Its users fill their feeds with carefully filtered and cropped photos of exotic locations and colorful venues. But now, from his plywood-lined garage, Mosseri, Instagram's CEO, is telling his users to do what he's doing: stay at home. Over the past week the company launched a dedicated"Stay at Home" tab featured prominently in the Stories section at the top of its feed.
