Central Ohio power crews have embarked on a mission to assist in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene.

Dylan Brown, an operations manager at AEP Ohio, is among those heading south. This marks his 20th trip to help after a storm. It's one of those things where in the evening before I go, we make sure to have a good dinner with each other. We gave the kids a bath. We enjoyed that little bit of time we have left before I leave first thing in the morning; but they're very understanding of what my job entails," Brown said.
