This marks the fourth rerelease announcement from Taylor Swift, one of the most anticipated by her fans. The album hit Friday, exactly 79 days after she surprised fans in Los Angeles with the date of the drop. If you’re wondering what the significance of that is, only a true Swift fan could tell you.
While the album can now be enjoyed by listening anytime, anywhere, fans across the United States held listening parties to celebrate the rerelease. Now what’s left for Swift to mastermind? Fans expect Swift to announce another rerelease, specifically for her album Reputation, at her upcoming tour date in Buenos Aires on Nov. 9.
This will be just 13 days after the release of “1989 .” Thirteen is a lucky number and a moniker for Swift, frequently used to identify key dates to her followers. Fans are certain their Mother won’t disappoint — all she has left is to take back her Reputation and her name.
