Mayor Eric Adams and Rep. Jerrold Nadler said Saturday as they made a full-court press for the Big Apple to host the 2024 Democratic National Convention.
“The Democratic convention will get media wherever it goes, but in New York, it’ll get more media,” said Nader, D-NY, during a Midtown rally attended by roughly 100 union leaders, pols and other supporters.
New York is the “safest big city” in America, Adams boasted, and the only logical spot to host the convention. Mayor Eric Adams and Rep. Jerry Nadler teamed up Saturday in a full-court press for New York City to host the 2024 Democratic National Convention.Besides New York, Chicago and Atlanta are also being considered to host the convention.
