The Maroon 5 frontman told the crowd that he used to perform for himself, but now he does it for his wife, Behati Prinsloo, and their three children.
“I used poor judgment in speaking with anyone other than my wife in ANY kind of flirtatious manner,” the “Voice” alum wrote in a statement on his Instagram Stories at the time.“I did not have an affair, nevertheless, I crossed the line during a regrettable period of my life,” he added.
During Friday night’s concert, which marked the first show of the Maroon 5’s Vegas residency, Levine also paid tribute to the band’s late manager.died at age 40 of a heart attackLevine shared that the late music business executive “believed in the band when nobody else did,” adding, “He was my protector, my champion.”
Maroon 5’s “M5LV” shows will run throughout March and April before continuing again in July and August.
