There were plenty of winners at the 2023 ACM Awards, but Dolly Parton, once again, stole the show.The easy banter between Brooks, in his first hosting gig, and Parton, 77, carried the show’s early moments.
“And I thought I couldn’t love you anymore,” an embarrassed Brooks said with a laugh. “I think I speak for everybody, not just in Texas but around the world, when I say we will always love you.”
