ICYMI: Accused in Megan Gallagher death released on conditions
Ernest Vernon Whitehead, 41, appeared by phone on Friday in Saskatoon provincial court to hear the conditions of his release, while Gallagher’s supporters sat in the courtroom and listened.
“One of my fears is, he has orders not to talk, but we know that the streets talk. We know that networks talk. I’m also worried for his safety,” Gallagher’s father, Brian, said outside court.“There is no justice that will bring Megan back. Justice is about balance, so that will never be rebalanced. If it can prevent it from happening to other people, then I think that’s the positive that we need to take out of this.
