Crowds are expected to gather at the Boston Common and Copley Square to rally and show support for abortion rights Saturday afternoon. Spurred by the recently leaked draft opinion from the Supreme Court in favor of overturning Roe v. Wade, the organized protests are a part of a national effort to defend the right to abortion access. The events are expected to occur in solidarity withProtesters are expected to arrive in the Boston Common around noon to the Boston Bans Off Our Bodies Day of Action event.
Other similar rallies are expected to take place in numerous cities nationwide, including New York, Chicago, Austin and Washington DC.
