Lincolnshire County Council will raise council tax by the full amount of 4.99% after its budget was passed on Friday.
An extra £7 million will be invested in Lincolnshire’s roads as the council says it’s in a stronger than expected position.It is the highest of three options considered by the council and will be made up of 2.99% general precept and 2% for adult social care.Council Leader Martin Hill told the meeting there had been a “profound effect” caused by the global economic crisis, including the impacts of the pandemic, the Ukraine conflict, and increasing inflation costs.
