Houston Police officers responded to a shooting in the 5500 block of Richmond Avenue and found a bullet-riddled vehicle with two women inside. The passenger was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, but the driver died at the scene after being struck"at least once" by gunfire, Assistant Chief of Police Wyatt Martin said at a staging area following the shooting.The vehicle was shot multiple times from both directions, Martin said.
