With the first movie already showing success with the style, director Sam Hargrave reveals his high goals for Extraction 2's one-shot scene. The upcoming Netflix action sequel picks up nearly a year after the events of its predecessor, with Chris Hemsworth's Tyler Rake having recovered from his wounds and tasked with rescuing a ruthless Georgian gangster's family from the prison they're living in with him.
It kind of comes with the territory of a sequel, unfortunately, and by signing on to that, I knew what I was getting into. People are expecting more of the same, but more and bigger and better, because they want to know more about the character, they want to see more development of his skills, or what new adventure is this character on. We knew we had a huge hill to climb, so we just surrounded ourselves with great people, great creative minds, and the stunt team was amazing.
