Authorities say a bulk carrier has sunk in the Red Sea after being attacked by Houthi rebels. The Iranian-backed Houthis have launched attacks in the vital maritime corridor in protest of the Israel-Hamas war. The Israeli war against Hamas in Gaza is now in its ninth month.

Thousands of people held a protest in Jerusalem for a second day on Tuesday, calling for fresh elections and an end to the war in Gaza.
