I continued to do yoga on and off, starting a more dedicated practice in college. I quickly fell in love with this form of moving my body to music, and I’ve stuck with it ever since. It enables me to fully let go—to get out of my head and let the soundtrack replace my usual anxiety loop. As far as I’m concerned, my awkward movements no longer matter.
