Called the Great Canadian Casino Resort Toronto and located near the intersection of Hwys. 401 and 427, and adjacent to the Woodbine Racetrack, the venue will feature a “modern Vegas-style casino” and integrated 400-room hotel, says a media release touting the $1 billion development. , the casino will feature over 4,800 slot machines and more than 145 table games. Other on-site amenities are to include a 5,000-seat live entertainment venue and eight different dining options.The nearby Casino Woodbine, owned by the same company, will continue to operate until the new location opens and absorbs it, Keeling said.
