Tintin A and Tintin B, the first two Starlink satellites, were launched in February 2018 as part of a test mission. The first operational batch of 60 satellites was launched after this in May 2019.Starlink satellites are designed to offer users worldwide high-speed, low-latency internet connectivity.

Some of these solutions include modifying the satellites' brightness and reflectivity, altering their orbits to reduce interference, and creating software tools to aid astronomers in anticipating and avoiding potential interference.
