A College Student In Mexico Fell 80 Feel While Doing Yoga On Her Balcony
She was practicing yoga and using the railing for extreme poses.
Alexa's legs will require multiple surgeries to reconstruct her ankles and knees, and she may not walk for three years. College student Alexa Terrazas, 23, survived a 80-foot fall last Saturday afternoon after practicing yoga on her sixth-floor apartment's balcony in northeastern Mexico. She was practicing a risky yoga pose and lost her balance.
Alexa often did yoga, using the railing on her balcony for poses. Neighbors recall seeing her practice poses on the railing, including hanging upside down over the edge . Alexa landed on the pavement below her balcony and suffered multiple fractures in her legs, arms, hip, and head,
