Could some locations in the San Francisco Bay Area hit 100 degrees on Tuesday?
"If we get into the 100s, it will be pretty localized to the areas that are close to the Central Valley, so that would be far eastern Contra Costa, right on the county border, basically," said weather service forecaster Brooke Bingaman."Same in Napa County. If we get it, it will be near the border with the Central Valley. But we'll definitely see temperatures in the mid-to-upper 90s both today and tomorrow.
Fire conditions across the Bay Area will be near-critical, but the weather service hasn't issued an official advisory across the region as the vegetation on the ground still has some moisture.
