What isn't clear is whether the director would choose to phase Reeves into a more supporting role in those films, given that each film is released roughly 2-3 years apart.

4 A Producer Has Confirmed John Wick 5 Is Already In Development According to IGN, a Lionsgate earnings call already confirmed back in June 2023 that John Wick 5 was in development. There isn't a script or story yet, but Basil Iwanyk stated, "I think that we are being – and the studio is being – very methodical and very smart about how we do it and not go for the quick buck," he adds.
