The corporation said the prize money would be returned to players through future bonus games or promotions if the winner doesn’t come forward by the deadline.
The winning ticket was purchased at an authorized lottery retailer in Scarborough last year. OLG said that despite having “very detailed” information about the winning ticket, the buyer’s identity is unknown to the provincial lottery and gaming corporation.
The winning numbers for the Lotto Max were 8, 19, 22, 41, 42, 46, and 47, with a bonus of 10. The jackpot was drawn on June 28, 2022.. Customers have one year from the day of the draw to claim the prize when printed at a lottery terminal before the ticket expires. “If this June 28, 2022, LOTTO MAX ticket expires, the $70 million prize will be returned to players through future bonus games or promotions,” OLG said.
The provincial lottery and gaming corporation encouraged players to check for clothing pockets, glove compartments, sun visors, and office drawers for outstanding tickets and to contact OLG at 1-800-387-0098 if they stumble upon the winning ticket. The winner will undergo a review process to determine the rightful owner of the ticket before receiving the price.
