A major crash Tuesday afternoon in Conroe left seven people hospitalized and at least 10 vehicles damaged.A major crash Tuesday afternoon in Conroe left seven people hospitalized, one of whom was temporarily entrapped inside their vehicle — sandwiched between other crashed cars.
A dump truck had been traveling on State Highway 105 when it slammed into other vehicles on the road, involving at least 10 cars in the crash, according to the Montgomery County Police Reporter.The Conroe Fire Department was dispatched shortly after 1 p.m. to the major accident at State Highway 105 West and Highland Hollow.
When the initial first responders got to the scene they called for backup help from additional ambulances and fire and rescue equipment. In the crash, a pickup driver became trapped inside their vehicle and had to be rescued. The pickup was stuck between two other vehicles and the driver had been thrown to the passenger side floorboard in the chaos. The driver was injured and taken to a hospital once rescued.
