Sixth-grade students charged with plotting Tennessee school shooting after rumors of 'hit list' circulated.

Two 6th grade students in Tennessee have been charged for allegedly planning a school shooting, according to officials.

Last week, the school resource officer caught wind of a rumor about the existence of a"hit list" that contained the names of students to be shot, officials said. The investigation also revealed"multiple conversations" between the two students in the past two weeks in which they devised the plot, officials said.
