66-year-old man struck by car in Pacific Beach suffers life-threatening injuries [Breaking]
A 66-year-old man suffered life-threatening injuries when he was hit by a car as he walked across a Pacific Beach street Thursday night, San Diego police said.
The crash happened about 10 p.m. as the man was crossing Grand Avenue at Kendall Street, Sgt. Clinton Leisz said. Leisz said the man “walked into the path of” a 2011 Toyota Camry headed east on Grand. The pedestrian sustained several injuries.Liesz said investigators do not suspect alcohol was a factor in the crash.
