A 58-year-old bicyclist was killed after being hit by a driver on the West side, according to the San Antonio Police Department.
A 58-year-old man was riding his bike through a U.S. Highway 90 underpass Saturday night when he was struck and killed by a car, San Antonio police said.The bicyclist was riding without lights or reflectors at about 9:30 p.m. when he was hit at South General McMullen Dr. and Highway 90 on an unlit stretch of road.
The driver who struck the still-unidentified man told police that they hadn't seen the bicyclist in the dark.
