The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office identified the victim as Anthony Dewain Word.

They arrived to find Word unresponsive in the driveway of an abandoned house. He was pronounced dead on the scene at 3:12 p.m. Lt. Joni Money said witnesses reported hearing multiple gunshots in the area.
