Played in 35 games in three seasons with 153 tackles, 19 passes defensed, 10 interceptions, nine tackles for loss, 4 1/2 sacks, three forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries. Regarded as an excellent run defender and an enthusiastic hitter and tackler to provide depth behind starters Talanoa Hufanga and Tashaun Gipson. Fits 49ers profile in that he was considered serious practice player. Should be able to compete immediately on special teams.
