Three people are in life-threatening condition following a shooting in Mississauga Saturday evening, Peel paramedics say.

According to police tweets and a news release Saturday, officers responded to a shooting in a commercial plaza along Queensway East and Stanfield Road around 6:30 p.m. Police said a suspect or suspects fled in a stolen white Ram 1500 pickup truck with Ontario licence plate BD85909. Officers have since located the car torched and abandoned in the Town of Caledon, more than 40 kilometres away.
Peel Regional Paramedics said emergency crews treated and transported three victims to various hospitals.Three of the victims are in stable condition, while one is in critical condition, police said.They ask anyone with information to contact investigators or submit a tip anonymously to Crime Stoppers.
