Wednesday off the northwest coast of Vancouver Island, says Natural Resources Canada earthquake seismologist John Cassidy.Cassidy said it was about 180 kilometres off Brooks Peninsula, southwest of Port McNeill.The quake was five to 10 kilometres deep, Cassidy said.
