A 30-year-old man was jailed Saturday in the death of a cyclist struck in a hit-and-run in Grand Prairie.
Juan Robledo-Delgado was booked into the Grand Prairie Detention Center on a charge of an accident involving death, a second-degree felony. About 9:30 p.m. Friday in the 2500 block of West Jefferson Street, near Trailerdell Street, police say Robledo-Delgado was driving a Honda passenger car when he hit a man riding his bicycle on the roadway.
Robledo-Delgado drove off without providing aid, according to police. The man was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead. His identity has not been released.The investigation is ongoing.
