A hit-and-run crash involving an Uber driver left a three-year-old child in critical condition Sunday night.
Local NewsThe crash took place around 8 p.m. in the 10270 block of the North Freeway near Deer Trail Drive and Gillespie.driver in a Toyota van was traveling with three passengers, a man, a woman, and their three-year-old child when they crashed with a Ford F-350.The two vehicles ended up on the North Freeway heading northbound before exiting onto the Feeder Road.
Investigators say that the pickup truck made a U-turn at West Road and then hit the curb and one of the columns.HPD said that the male passenger inside the Uber was taken to the hospital by ambulance and is in stable condition. The three-year-old child was also taken by ambulance to the hospital and is said to be in“The details of this crash are deeply upsetting. We are keeping those injured in our thoughts and wish them a full recovery. Road safety is a critical focus for us.
