Calgary police are investigating a two-vehicle crash on Memorial Drive on Monday that injured three people.
The collision happened in the intersection of Memorial Drive and Madigan Drive N.E. at around 11:30 a.m., and saw at least one of the vehicles collide with a light standard.According to Calgary EMS, a man in his 70s and a woman in her 60s were taken to hospital from the same vehicle.
The man was in serious, life-threatening condition when he was transported and the woman was in stable condition.All three were taken to the Foothills Medical Centre.We are asking the public to avoid the intersection of Memorial Drive E. and Madigan Drive N.E. due to a motor vehicle collision. Memorial Drive E. is expected to be shut down for a number of hours.
