Park holds other speedcubing records, including the single solve and average solve world records for the 4x4x4 cube, 5x5x5 cube, 6x6x6 cube, and 7x7x7 cube. When Park broke the 7x7x7 single record with a time of one minute and 40 seconds, Erik Akkersdijk, who’s a cubing veteran had said, “The record will likely stand for some time.” But Park broke his own record in 2022 with a time of 1 minute 35 seconds.As a person on the autistic spectrum, Park’s parents say that cubing has been a good therapy for him.
