Ford’s next-gen top-flight Mustang adds some of Ford’s greatest hits to its option list

Ford is unleashing a new color-shifting paint for the Mustang Dark Horse. Dubbed blue ember, this color shifts from blue to amber depending on the lighting. Ford hasn’t mentioned that this finish will have a production cap, so it might not be as rare as a mystichrome Mustang, but only time will tell.
Regardless, you’ll be able to snag your own Mustang Dark Horse, with or without the carbon fiber wheels or special paint, when it goes on sale this summer. Ford hasn’t said how much the blue ember finish will cost, or the carbon fiber wheels, but you can bet the latter will be a good chunk of change.
