The incident was reported shortly before 3:30 a.m. Wednesday in the 11900 block of Grandview Drive, according to police.Two people were taken to the hospital early Wednesday after they were assaulted during a home invasion and robbery in Frisco, police said.A resident told officers multiple robbers forced their way into the home and assaulted several residents with a weapon and restrained them. The home invaders stole a large amount of cash, police said.
Two of the victims were taken to a hospital for their injuries. Police did not say how many people were inside the house during the attack, or what weapon was used during the incident.Police said they believe the incident was isolated and that there is no public threat. No information about the suspects was available Wednesday afternoon.
