Durham Police located a woman with life threatening injuries at approximately 5:00 AM.

Officers responded to the sound of gunshots at a home in the area of Jane Avenue and Glenforest Street Saturday around 12:35 p.m., Sgt. Joanne Bortoluss told reporters. Officers then learned about a second home on Glenforest Street, where they found a 42-year-old female who had also been shot. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
