A man and a woman are dead after shots were fired Wednesday morning in Dallas’ Deep Ellum neighborhood, according to Dallas police.
DALLAS — A man and a woman are dead after shots were fired Wednesday morning in Dallas’ Deep Ellum neighborhood, according to authorities. Deep Ellum is known for its many bars and restaurants.
The altercation started at the Bitter End bar where the man was sitting on the bar’s patio before an assailant approached and fired shots, accord to Dallas police. The woman was also hit as a result of the shooting, and both victims were pronounced dead at the hospital. The victims were identified as 37-year-old Rickey Gossett and 30-year-old Danielle Jones, according to authorities.
A third man was hit with a bullet fragment, but experienced non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
