Mounties responded to a robbery report on Uniacke Mines Road just before 9:30 p.m. Mounties learned that a man and a woman had been in a vehicle together owned by the woman when the man told the woman to get out of the vehicle. When she refused, the man allegedly sprayed her with a chemical irritant, forcibly removed her and threw her belongings out of the vehicle before fleeing the scene.While investigating the incident, police were told that the suspect stole fuel from a gas station in the community and left on Highway 1, heading to Windsor.The vehicle was then seen turning off Highway 1 onto Buster Davis Road, and a traffic stop was attempted.
