T’revonsay Sales, 18, died Sunday morning after being taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries and inPolice received a call around 2 a.m. about a person who was shot near 19th Avenue and Mountain View Road, at a group home facility that serves teenagers from ages 16 to 20, Sgt. Brian Bower said in a media briefing. Officers found a young man, later identified as Sales, with a gunshot wound, and he was taken to the hospital.
A 17-year-old had been arrested in connection to the shooting for suspicion of aggravated assault and related weapon charges. He was booked into Maricopa County Juvenile court, according to police.The unidentified shooter and Sales lived in the group home, Sgt. Brian Bower said in a media briefing the day of the shooting.
