He still cries occasionally, but usually not for as long and not as often. This car seat is bulky, but does fit just fine in my Subaru Outback. This car seat does have a minimum weight limit of 14 pounds, but luckily, our son was above that weight pretty early on. The only downside to having this car seat is not being able to carry around in it; it is permanent and for inside the car only. Since he wasn't falling asleep in his other car seat anyway, it is not that big of a deal for me.
