Teenage Niko Niko's employee knew the three accused of killing her, leaving her body by the road
Niko Niko’s on Sam Houston Parkway, where a teen employee, whose body was found with uniform worked on Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2022 in Houston. The 16 year old’s body was found in Liberty County.Police believe a 16-year-old Houston girl willingly got into a car with three acquaintances, including an ex-boyfriend, after work before they took her to the side of a Liberty County Road, shot her in the head and left her body.
before murdering her, Liberty County Sheriff's Office officials said during a news conference Friday. Rivera-Ortiz is believed to have been in a prior relationship with the victim. The trio is accused of fatally shooting the teenager once in the side and once in the head before leaving her body on the side of County Road 3550 in Cleveland, Texas. It's believed she was killed at the location she was found, outside the vehicle.
Rodriguez-Avil was found by deputies wearing a shirt and cap from Niko Niko's. She was last seen leaving the Greek restaurant the night before her death. All three suspects confessed to their roles in the murder, according to the sheriff's office. However, they gave different motives for the killing, said Capt. Billy Knox, criminal investigation division commander with Liberty County Sheriff's Office.
