Authorities have released the name of a 15-year-old girl killed in an apparent domestic shooting that also wounded her young brother.The deadly shooting happened before 12:30 p.m. Wednesday
Her 5-year-old brother was shot in the leg and transported to Children’s of Alabama. His injuries aren’t life-threatening. The suspect, whose identity is being withheld pending formal charges, was taken into custody Wednesday afternoon after a brief manhunt in Woodlawn. The arrest was made in the 6000 block of First Avenue North.‘’It’s just a very heinous situation,’’ Thurmond said.
