Thesiger's Dr. Pretorius is even introduced as a "very queer looking gentleman.
7 The Lighthouse Close Robert Eggers' 2019 movie The Lighthouse is littered with complex themes and a multitude of potential interpretations. One such interpretation highlights homoeroticism throughout the movie, including the relatively undressed physical altercations, the pair's slow dance, and their growing obsession with each other's sexual habits.
4 Frankenstein Created Woman The fourth Peter Cushing Frankenstein movie produced by Hammer Horror Productions was 1967's Frankenstein Created Woman. In it, Victor Frankenstein transfers the soul of an executed man into the body of his female lover. In many ways, it can be considered a trans allegory. It depicts a character trapped in a gender identity that does not match the one assigned to them at birth. For 1967, it's handled rather sympathetically.
