Enzo Fernandez has been added to the list... jbsoutar has ranked Chelsea's last 50 signings. CFC
21-year-old Badiashile was signed this month for quite a lot of money and is the fourth defender Chelsea have brought in this season.Chelsea fans seem to love or hate Ziyech. Either way, he has not been great after a brilliant spell with Ajax.I don’t know why but I can already see Fofana being someone who plays four times for Chelsea before leaving for £2.5m in 2026.I can’t even pretend I know a lot about Andrey Santos. He is young and Brazilian with a lot of potential… apparently.
The Blues have signed a brilliant young player, for a decent price, who can fill that void when James is injured or needs a rest.Fofana has only managed seven Chelsea appearances thanks to a knee injury. Given how bad Leicester are without him and how much the Blues are now struggling, it is evident Potter could really do with the Frenchman – who was signed for a helluva lot of money.
Sold to Brighton for a measly £7.3m, Gilmour has not quite got up and running on the south coast, but the potential remains.Signed from London rivals Arsenal, Giroud scored against the Gunners in the 2019 Europa League final then proceeded to take the p*ss out of his former employers on the way home. For that alone, he was a brilliant signing.Chilwell was bought for a lot of money and if it wasn’t for the several injuries he has suffered, he would probably be a bit higher on this list.
Anyway, the Italian playmaker has had a strange Blues career. At times he looks like one of the best midfielders in the Premier League, but he also sometimes looks completely out of his depth – slow, weak and a liability. Having said that, he is one of few players on this list that can be regarded as a successful signing.
