With rumors pointing toward new Star Wars LEGO dioramas, here are the top 10 models we'd like to see from the Skywalker saga's prequel trilogy.
LEGO has recently released a new kind of Star Wars set with its wave of diorama models, though there have yet to be any from the prequel trilogy. Geared toward older LEGO collectors, the Star Wars dioramas depict iconic scenes from the galaxy far, far away often with quotes from the movies as well. Going beyond ships and vehicles, it does seem as though the LEGO Group is only getting started with their Star Wars dioramas, as they've only done models from the original trilogy thus far.
Additionally, perhaps the proposed diorama could be modeled after the very beginning or end of the duel. Darth Maul emerging from the opening hanger doors would be quite epic. Conversely, Maul and Qui-Gon dueling over the chasm with Obi-Wan initially trapped behind an energy barrier would be significant as well. Clearly, there are plenty of exciting options.
The dramatic arrival of Yoda and the clones would likely be too much for one set. However, a diorama primarily focused on the beasts would be very exciting. That said, a few Jedi minifigures featured in the stands would make for a pretty cool diorama as well. Also, the perfect quote for the LEGO set would have to be from Jedi Master Mace Windu: "This party's over."
