One person died and another was injured after a police shooting involving a knife-wielding man occurred Tuesday morning outside a Denny’s in Reseda, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
LAPD officers responded to multiple calls, the first at 11:10 a.m., of a man wielding a blade near the intersection of Reseda Boulevard and Saticoy Street. One man in his 30s was pronounced dead at the scene by the Los Angeles Fire Department, while another was taken to a trauma center, according to LAFD spokesperson Margaret Stewart.
